The Short Version

If you don’t have time for the whole thing, here are the four things that actually matter:

  1. We collect what we need to run a placement and bill you. Not more.
  2. We do not sell your data. Ever. To anyone.
  3. We share data only with the tools we use to run our business (Stripe, email, time tracking, our CRM) and only as much as those tools need.
  4. You can ask us what we have on you, and you can ask us to delete it.

The rest of this page is the detail behind those four points.

1. Who’s Responsible for Your Data

Ad Snipper is the data controller for everything collected through adsnipper.com and through our client onboarding process.

Office: 770 Market St, Farmington, MO
Data contact: contact@adsnipper.com

If you’re in the EU, UK, or California, you have specific rights spelled out lower on this page.

2. What We Collect

We collect three kinds of information.

Information you give us directly

When you fill out a contact form, book a call, or sign an agreement, you give us things like:

  • Name, email, phone number
  • Company name and role
  • The role you want to fill and how many hours
  • Billing details (handled through Stripe, not stored on our servers)
  • Whatever else is in your signed agreement

Information we collect automatically when you visit our site

Standard web stuff:

  • IP address and rough location (country and city, not your house)
  • Browser type, device type, operating system
  • Pages you visited, how you got there, how long you stayed
  • Cookies and similar tracking technology (see Section 6)

Information from working together

Once you’re a client, we hold things like:

  • Invoices and payment history
  • Communication with your account manager
  • Time tracking reports from your assigned associate
  • Any briefs, SOPs, or materials you share with us to do the work

3. Why We Collect It

Each piece of data has a job. We don’t collect things “just in case.”

WhatWhy
Contact detailsTo respond to inquiries, send proposals, and run your account
Billing detailsTo invoice you and process payments
Site analyticsTo understand which pages help and which don’t
Communication recordsTo resolve disputes and improve service
Time trackingTo bill accurately and show you what hours were worked

If we ever want to use your data for something not listed here, we’ll ask first.

4. Who We Share It With

We share data with three groups, and only three.

Service providers we use to run the business

This includes:

  • Stripe and bank partners (for payments)
  • Email and CRM tools (for communication and account management)
  • Time tracking software (for billing transparency)
  • Hosting and analytics providers (for the website itself)

Each of these has its own privacy obligations, and we only give them the minimum data they need to do their job.

Our placed associates

The associate working on your account will see whatever you choose to share with them to do the work. This is the whole point of the engagement.

Authorities, when legally required

If a court order, subpoena, or regulator compels us to share information, we will comply. We’ll let you know unless the law prevents it.

We never sell, rent, or trade your data to advertisers, data brokers, or anyone else. This is non-negotiable.

5. Where Your Data Lives

Ad Snipper is based in Pakistan with administrative operations in the United States. Our placed associates also work from Pakistan. Some of our service providers (Stripe, Google, the email platform we use) store data in the US, EU, or globally distributed servers.

By working with us, you understand that your data may be processed in countries other than your own, including Pakistan and the United States. We use providers that maintain industry-standard safeguards.

6. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies because the modern web basically requires them. Here’s what’s on:

Essential cookies. Keep the site working. You can’t turn these off without breaking things.

Analytics cookies. Google Analytics or similar. Helps us see which pages people actually read.

Marketing cookies. Meta Pixel, Google Ads. Used to measure which ads bring people who actually become clients.

You can turn off non-essential cookies through our cookie banner, your browser settings, or by emailing us. Turning them off doesn’t change what you pay or what service you get. It just gives us less data to work with.

7. How Long We Keep It

The honest answer is: as long as we need to, then we delete it.

  • Active client data: Kept for the duration of the engagement plus seven years (tax and audit requirements).
  • Prospect data: Kept for two years from last contact, then deleted unless you ask us to keep it.
  • Marketing list: Until you unsubscribe, plus a short period to honor the unsubscribe request.
  • Site analytics: Aggregated after 26 months.

You can ask us to delete sooner. Some records (invoices, tax documents) we’re legally required to keep regardless.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you have rights over your data. We honor them regardless of where you live, because it’s the right way to operate.

You can ask us to:

  • Show you what we have on you
  • Correct anything that’s wrong
  • Delete what we hold (within legal limits)
  • Stop using your data for marketing
  • Export your data in a portable format
  • Object to certain kinds of processing

To make any of these requests, email contact@adsnipper.com. We’ll respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity first, so we don’t accidentally hand your data to someone else.

California residents have additional rights under the CCPA. EU and UK residents have rights under GDPR. Both are covered above. If you feel we’ve mishandled a request, you can complain to your local data protection authority.

9. How We Protect It

We do the basics seriously:

  • Encrypted connections (HTTPS) across the site
  • Access to client data limited to staff who need it
  • Two-factor authentication on internal tools
  • Background checks on placed associates
  • NDAs signed by every team member
  • Regular review of who has access to what

No system is unbreakable. If something does go wrong and your data is exposed in a way that creates real risk, we’ll tell you and the relevant authority within 72 hours, in line with GDPR.

10. Children

Our services are for businesses. We don’t market to anyone under 18 and don’t knowingly collect data from minors. If you think we have data about a child, email us and we’ll delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We update this page when our practices change or the law changes. The date at the top tells you when. For material changes, active clients get an email. For minor changes (typos, clarifications), we just update the page.

If you keep using our service after a change, that counts as acceptance of the updated policy.

12. Contact

Privacy questions, requests, or complaints:

Email: contact@adsnipper.com
Mail: Ad Snipper, 770 Market St, Farmington, MO

We aim to reply within five business days for general questions and within 30 days for formal data requests.
